Fog and Towers

LMC54 Once again you have added an interersting perspective to what would og otherwise been a very plain photo. DL

That is strange....either I was holding the camera crooked or they actually lean that way. But I looked at the corner of the house and it is 90 degrees on the large one. This is weird.

The geometry in the foreground is a good idea. Did you notice that
the next tower in line is not vertical? Anyway, a neat fog picture.

One more thing not to stress over. I even put a different focusing screen in my camera. One with reference lines, and I still don't get it exactly right every time. I just do the best I can, then level them with PS when necessary.

I should have caught it earlier but this shows you were my interest was anyways ...hehe up front... I'll rotate it later. Thanks hugh.

Larry,

Great idea for a shot. I was driving in the early morning fog just this week, trying frantically to find something to shoot and capture with this fabulous mist. I drove right past a break in the trees...the high voltage lines just like these. Geez.....who knew? I'll stop next time.

Jim

You know Sandman, those power lines don't really shoot well without help with the weather. I tryed and have seen it under good conditions and they seem to suffer. I recommend fog for power lines and poles. Thanks and shoot them in fog and let me see them. Thanks

Good one, Larry....other than the leveling issue that hugh mentioned, this one is very interesting and I really like the attempt at depth with the background power lines and the fog. Thanks for sharing this one!

after the old Eastwood movie: "Play Misty for me"

Boy Larry--am I glad I didn't buy the 707 -- so many issues over there (BFS, White Balance, ...etc..in STF -- it is a misty scene over there also.

I sold my stock at a profit--- just in time I guess.

MAC you deserve an SLR, you have a good eye just no equipment to show it off. Just hold tight bro cause prices will fall with all this war stuff going on.

Agree Larry--I'm six months behind you as you once said....we'll try to find an SLR about Feb when I get my bonus if we see a gem introduced.

Thanks for your help.
