I could of sworn I read something about a new 135mm VR lens (with links to Nikon jp site), but now I can not find it...

There is no such thing as taking 'too many pictures', you can always delete the extra ones, but you can never go back in time, and take more pictures...

Hey Minrov, I know it is coming too, but do you have any links for leaked specs or pics?

--Well I'm not but when D200 pics get on forum first they look to good to be fake so are the 105Vr macro pics looks real and with so many macros in that focal comming in past 7 years nikon lens is do for make over.Problem is when 105 just get on market it cost so much did not get to all camera bags.
This VR will be starting at about $899-950 thats my guess.

Fortunatly for me I'm not crazy about newest lenses and for that price I prefferd 70-180mm.

--You can't brake law of optics unless with this lens Nikon did but all macros even when f2.8 change 11/2 stop or 2 when at max.magnification so old 105 in thrut was f5 at 1:1. New lans is mark as f2.8.

It makes a lot of sense if you think about it. It is really difficult to take macro shots hand held due to the close focusing distance and the small apertures required to get a large enough DOF. VR may actually allow you to hand hold some shots or at least reduce the number that require a tripod.
Interest to know what VR will aid in micro photography?

also don't forget that the micro 105 VR can turn into a nice portrait lens!

--Thast just bolony no macro lenses make good portrait lens.

Most including Leica are sharpest at max f stop and start loosing stop down yet to get most nice portraits are shot at f2.8-5.6 range and there are not many peopel looking good when every wrinkel shows up.

Good portreture lens makes softer glowing pics and this how we see this in 3-4 generations so we just persive as rigth way.

I like the idea of a AF-S 105mm micro VR, but the lens photo in the following link is probably fake.

http://www.pcpop.com/doc/0/121/121228.shtml

It says in Chinese that it has a 52mm front filter size, but the picture, especially the lens construction diagram, shows a much larger front size.
