Oh my, look what Santa brought me today. Yes, I know it's a bit early but I've been very good this month.

Is that a self-portrait with careful arrangement of mirrors? 8-)

Thanks kenny;

I bought it from Kawartha TV and Stereo in Perterborough, Ontario, Canada. The price was $1599.00 which, at an xchange rate of 1.54 works out to approximately $1040.00 Not the cheapest, but I have a good rappor with this outfit and it's pretty-much local. Nice people to deal with as well.

Hi Ali;

Actually, no, it isn't but I never thought of that. That would have been very cool don't you think? I took the pic with my Sony CD-1000

Regards

Hi Bud:

I had to pay $1799 at Henry's in Oshawa but they gave me a good trade in on my old equipment.

Good idea... Have a look:
http://www.pbase.com/g4273/707_self_portraits

I used the timer. I wonder if movement in the lens was just enough to mess up my shots with slow shutter speeds (resulting in ghost images), since the 707 was just resting on a towel. Next time I should try using a tripod to keep the camera still.

Four mirrors rather than just two would make possible many more interesting angles, I would think! And, I was somewhat constrained because one of my mirrors was small. Maybe three mirrors and file manipulation for reflection would do the trick.
