Hi there,
I was wondering if any of you Pro90 users have heard of any other good teleconverters other than the B300. Once you start getting zoom, it's hard to turn back! Since the B300 it getting rare these days, I was wondering why any 58mm teleconverter of reasonable quality shouldn't do the trick. Of course, for some reason, the Canon TC-DC58 won't work (I've personally seen someone try it) The TCON 14-B sounds good too, but it is "only" 1.45x, and as long as I'm getting a teleconverter, might as well get some serious range! There is one 2x converter at this shopping site:
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/shopphotoking/2xtellen8.html
I have no idea if it is any good, and I'm not ready to be the guinea pig with something like this. It apparently is being sold as an accessory to the Oly C-700. There are others I've seen advertised as well, but I don't know.
Opinions, stories, gossip, hearsay, even borderline lies are welcome (well, try to keep some truth to it!)--Ken
