Is there other light painting like mine?

I've seen light painting shots similar to this but I love your use of the female form. The shot with the green light and silhouette is especially nice. Care to share the lighting process behind that one?

I have made a huge update to my portfolio online and the images are clearer and larger if anyone wants to check them out. There is also a wider range of my work.

I really appreciate the time everyone has taken to help me find the other light painters in the world.

Wow nice stuff!!! Here are a few from the lake that might fall under this catagory:

for this one i walked to the end of the dock with a glowstick and a blue falshlight in the other hand.

This one was a glow stick on the end of a sting.

And I must say, when I saw your work I HAD to do something similar. Hope you don't hate me!

I gotta say, seeing your stuff openend my mind up to a whole new world of possibilities! Thanks for sharing!

I'm glad you were inspired by my work! It feels nice when you can share art or spark someones creativity!

The camera piece you did is similar, yes. How long ago did you take that piece?

Take care,

About 12 hours after I saw your work :-)

Adam

I love your work and am wondering if you wouldn't mind outlining how your technique. My favourite is Blue Legs.

I need to wait to do that until I get a real art show or some national publicity before I can do that. The tools were invented and fabricated and the techniques took experimentation and then hundreds of hours of practice.

Once I'm established and my techniques are my own I can share them. Sorry I can't right now.

how your technique. ...
Hi Adam,
I am going to tell You a BIG secret, just don't let anyone else reading it ...

Take the 1th pic gently posted above by "harryphotos". Figure Camera on the Tripod. Exposure as based on a looong Shutter-time, say 60 seconds. Aperture as due for 60" under such a Light; if Diaphragm can not achieve value as narrow as required, just add ND (Neutral Density) Filter(s) or Polarizer as well.

Once the Shutter is going to open (self-timer also available), the guy starts running with a strong Lamp in his hand. Camera will be not recording the guy, since it is dark and moving, until he will be staying steady on the end, waiting for the Shutter close. Camera catchs the Lamp instead, as it sends light enough during every brief while it is going on.

Under day-light though, I have pictured many buildings with people running the street: on the pic You can see the building only ... Exposures were around an half hour.

Hi Anton,

I'm kind of confused by your post. It was him asking me how I did the images on my portfolio, not me asking him how he did the moving light. I know how to create a moving light where the holder of the light isn't seen. :)

Maybe I'm missing what you are trying to say?

Adam

I'm sorry Adam, my post was addressed to "lawnboy" in fact, Your name came out as typed in error. .. Of course You already know such a basic technique; and many more ones, too as Your great works are showing !!!

Likely "lawnboy" also is well aware about that; maybe some other readers can take advantages, I hope.

It was here on my side, kind of confusion on yesterday night while I was explaning at a couple of friends on how getting the picture shown as first on Your Portfolio Online; so, while talking about Strobes firing twice, snoots, gelatine filters, ... I on a while thought "lawnboy" also was Adam called and I went typing Your name again.
Our best congratulations to You again,

i think they all look tacky...almost like a cheap neon glow filter for photoshop.
