Spent Thanksgiving on my sister's farm in North Florida. I was inspired by the view from the top of a rolling hill and took a series of shots that I later assembled in PSE4. It took me about 12 hours of processing, but most of that was researching and learning some new PP techniques (replacing the grey, overcast sky with a PS gradient for example). Anyway, I was really happy with how it came out. The original panorama was made up of around 30 pics (3 rows of 10-12 each), shot at the full 200mm zoom on my A1. The aspect ratio of that panorama was absurd, so I ended up cropping about half the width to get the 4:1 ratio in the pic below. The full size, cropped image is 12000 x 3000 (36MB). I had it printed at bigphotohelp.com and was thrilled with the results.
Here's a resized pic of the final version(see " http://www.pbase.com/dumrox/image/53239866/original " for a bigger pic - still only 20% of full size)
Here's an example of the level of detail in the full size (this image was from a work in progress version of the pano)
