camera buying help...
hi i'm a new here....

i hope some of you are into photography and can help me if not do'nt read any further i'll bore you...

Hi as some of you might have known i wil be turning the big 2 9 in a couple of weeks now.... feb 8

Whel after a year of compromize and spending my money on others and not myself i thought a treat was in order....

So the plan is ( whel if the money is there ) to indoulge myself into buying a new d-slr camera....... so a digital single lens reflex camera....

The budget is no more then 1000 euro / dollars and i would like min 1 standard lens and where possible a 2 onde in cluded...

This is my camera distory :
  • kodak dispozable 35 mm (film)
  • pentax zoom 60R 35 mm (film)
  • minollta slr vectis aps-p mid role change (film)
  • pentax / hp photosmart c912 d-slr (digital)
So after +- 5 years withe my 1st digital camera and missing my minolta style pix very bad i thought this was a good time to upgraide.

Digtal camera's have come a long way sinds my 1st digital camera...

I was hoping to get more or les the same i had in my original minolta but ofcourse withe the conviniance of digital... it's also a hel of a lot cheaper considering i can shoot 1000 to 3000 pix in a year...

Ex my counter on my digital stands now at 6500 something.... and that is after 5 years of shooting and minde that i shot 1000 pix as a test 1st and then reset it to 0...

So in al it has made over 7000 pix so far... ofcourse i did not ceep al of them but quite a lot of them... say 80%

So in that case digital is cheaper.... on a 1000 euro camera at 1000 pix per year it's 1 euro a pix... so i wil write it of in 1 year....

So whel i hope i can get back to taking those creative pix of things far away wich i ca'nt now.... it wil give me more flexabilety....

So far i found a couple of camera's and narowed it down to 2 moddels....
  • konica minolta maxxum / dynax 5D
  • nikon D50
Now i have a problem becouse i'm hopelessly stuck !!

Saw some offers for bothe camera's at combie...

Price round about 800 a 900 euro withe a 18-55 and a 55-200 lens wich i find a good price....

The thing is i now see that i was realy spoiled withe my 1st digital camera.....

Actaly the only limitation i have withe it is the fackt that i can't change my lenzis.... for the rest i love it.... whel and some more pixels wil do..... i wil go up from 1 to 6 mega pixels wich is better ofcourse....

The only bad part is not 1 camera has al my hp has

So i have to chose 1 over the other but wich one....!!

I've been to many digital review sites and read comments etc. but withe no other effect than i know wat they can do....

So saturday i yet again went to some photo shops and had like a good 30 min to an hour's talk in the hope 1 would totaly convince me to buy 1 or the other.....

Maby it's me but sellers have become far to nice.... they are to diplomatical and thusly i stil DO NOT KNOW GRRRRRRR.....

This is bugging me bigtime so i was hoping some of you out there would like give me your opinions so it can help me chose 1 over the other....

Ag ja.... it's driving me nuts... to be honest i want bothe in 1 camera but that's not going to hapen....

So pleazzzzz help me...

tanx.... felix

There is a Dynax 5D kit with 18-70 and 75-300 mm lenses. This gives you a great zoom range for unbeatable EURO 829 (here in austria).
The Antishake is added for free, while its value is much more.

I would take the 5D without hesitation
