A face to the Name

Techie,

I would also like to include a picture of my wife and my son. I took this picture a few years ago with a cheapo DC3200 Kodak. This is my favorite picture that I have ever taken.

I'm seldom in front of a lens and had to hunt for this one taken 10 years ago and scanned. The only more recent one is on my driver's license, and only the police see that.

John, I can understand why this is your fav pic, your lovely wife and your golden that looks like it is about 5-6 months old and full of mischief. We have had 7 goldens over the years, still have 3 here now, they are the best dogs ever with kids and the worst if you love your garden.....LOL

You miss 100% of the shots you never take!

Rob,

Thank you! And yes, he had just turned 7 months. The Goldens are magnificent animals!

He is all grown up now, and like me is an avid motorcyclist. This is a photo of him now, with his motorcycle. I drive him to this school every day in it to let him run.

Best,

John

Great Thread , It's so nice to put names with faces of such wonderful friends. I'd add mine buy there a few problems and not sure if its my pc,or me,lol

1. My dx7590 camera one day did not allow my pics to scan from the camera to the computer, To top it off the disk for the softwear got lost.

2. Had alot of trouble with loading pics to my photobucket account, that I gave up for awhile.

3. Not Quite sure how to do it,few time I tried posting, my compter nicely told Go Away and go photograph something, Having all kinds of troubles with it lately,oh well try again in the future.

4. It's better I remain behind the lense then in front, I'd give this room nightmares or have to replace alot of people screens if I was able to post it. Besides what I lack in looks (quite a bit) I always hoped my words I write would paint a portrait of what I look like in everyones mind. Maybe after I shedd 200/300 pounds and attract myself a mate, I will get in front of the lense, but for now i'll remain a strange mystery, lol. Keep smiling and don't frown because one day i'll trade it all for a heavenly crown.

Take time to slow down, look around, and view and enjoy all of Gods creation, then photograph it and share it with others and always giving thanks.

Now this idea has spawned a gallery of photographers. Some
Pentaxian had the grand idea of posting all the pics to a pbase
website. Attached is the link. Brilliant! I nominate fgreenhut hut
to be the host of the Kodakian website.
Actually I have started exactly that for my own reference but I guess I could make it public for the members. Gee I could even charge for it. There won't be any negstive replies to this because this is the last post.

I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.
