I said I'd post a comment after I received my order . . . They have various sizes at their web site. My UZI takes their Jr model. It's perfect! sticks right on the LCD with adhesive strips that are already on the protector. Has nice thickness to it for the ultimate in LCD prtection, yet you really don't know it's on the LCD. http://www.daproducts.com/dpjr.htm

For $6 you can't go wrong, because the other fixes I read in the past threads offered me no protection from breakage of the LCD if you just stuck clear tape as suggested to protect from scratches. I was worried about the damage tape adhesives could do to the plastic LCD. Another suggestion was the clear sticky vinyl stuff, but again to me that offers no protection from a smack on the old LCD.

I recommend the 'da Protector highly for an instant classy fix to leaving your LCD unprotected or trying Mickey Mouse fixes on $500 and up pieces of camera equipment. (Olympus should put one of these in the box with the camera).
'da Protector should also slip me a free one for my unsolicited recommendation.

In closing . . . I have to ask . . . Does the guy who recommended cutting a small piece of Saran Wrap out and sticking it over his LCD also use Saran Wrap for a condom? :-) . . . sorry, but had to ask that

Thanks for the info, I am going to look into this myself for my 4040.

Looks good to me. I need Da' Oly Protector for the 4040. Cheap enough for me to order one as well. For the price of a digital camera, and what it would cost to replace the LCD, $8(inc shipping) is not a bad deal. I will post a reply to this message when I get mine als9o, and let you all know how it fits on the 4040.

I have them on my C3000 & C2100UZi, I highly recommend them & I wouldn't try & use anything else on the LCD screens.

Had one on my 2020 and now on my 2100 and 3000. Works great and I never have to worry about scratches or smacks...Bob

i have on for my c2100uz...it is awsome pc. it is perfectly clear, no distortion at all. highly recommend it. and simple to install..

Darn, I forgot to write "on recommendation from Paul" in comments box! $8 including shipping is a really good deal. I received my E-100rs less than a month ago, and I still treat it like crystal glass. Hopefully 'da Protector will make me ease up a little and get me out in the field. ;-)

Hi All,

Just wanted to let those of you who wondered and/or worried about having to take the protector off. I have had to do this on a couple of occasions when the protector got scratched. I used a piece of dental floss and gently pulled it through. There will be a small amount of residue from glue left on the LCD but the use of a small damp cloth, along with a little light rubbing action takes it right off. The LCD will be just like new. No damage whatsoever.

Great product!

...mebbe you should e-mail your idea to Ron Meyers at daproducts...

...also, just a touch of vegetable oil will help remove any stubborn residue (tip from Ron's wife, to him...calls it the "Martha Stewart" method)...
...anyways, thanks...
