The sun had set, and I was playing around with the black & white mode on the R1 in Zion Nat'l Park. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the black & white mode gave a nice "film-like" representation. All I did in post-processing was a bit of contrast adjustment, and a very slight color balance adjustment to give it a warm-tone feel.

Fantastic detailed image, nice job! Have you tried using a Hoya R72 IR filter with the R1 yet?

Thats more than a little contrast adjustment though, the histogram is big time chopped on both ends...which happens to be what I really like for this kind of shot so I'm not complaining! But in fairness its not whats coming out of the camera.

Keep creating stuff like this! Love it..
