it's on the back of the most recent Costco Collection magazine..... a nice big full page ad showing the two-lens outfit, but my store doesn't have any, nor do they have an item number for it. Has anyone found it at their local Costco? If so, what to they want for it?

just do a search on this forum. I had the same problem all costcos carry them but they are not taking them out until they sell their D50 and rebel stock.

All you have to do is call the shop and give them the SKU number mine in NOVA still have 10 sitting in the back room and I bought mine 3 weeks ago.

Search for sku costco or something I posted it a few weeks ago..

actually I just did it quickly for you enjoy mate

(PS all 4 costcos in my area had them)

I paid $799.99

saw it today. $799.
is costco an authorized distributor of Olympus? if i purchase this camera in costco US and if there's something wrong with the camera, can i return it here at costco canada? or the manufacturer's warranty will kick in? i think i can purchase the camera anywhere and still olympus will honor the warranty since they have the global warranty, am i right?

is costco selling the 14-45mm and 40-150mm kit?

the price is tempting at US$799 x 1.07 (WA state tax) = US$854.93

convert to CAD$: US$854.93 x 1.16 = CAD$991.72

once i cross the border, customs will charge me BC taxes (GHST & PST): CAD$991.72 x 1.14 = CAD$1130.56

Regular price here in BC is CAD$1250 plus taxes (7%GST & 7%PST) = CAD$1425.

SAVINGS OF CAD$294.44 (US$253.83).

Good Deal?
