Imagine my joy when the galahs bought along one of their babies to the feeder........he seemed totally fearless and even got into the feeder on his own, with parents watching just out of cam shot........what a beautiful youngster he is and what a wonderful addition to the garden.........looking forward to watching him develop over the months. I managed to even get the cam in the feeder for the feeder shot, what a buzz:)

Posing for the camera, Mummy has told me all about it:)

Hey do i have to eat this stuff, thought you might feed me:)

Still a bit unsure,

Please keep telling me im gorgeous, i like that:)

And finally in the feeder.......took me about 10 mins to coax him in, talking to him all the while,

Enjoy our newest memeber to the Forum:)

All the best,

Jen

Thank you Sheltie.......yes hes not the full blown lolly pink yet.....will be interesting to see how long those chest feathers take to turn

Thanks for looking,

Jen

Thanks Pam......it amazed me also just how placid he was and so trusting, was the very first time i saw him also.....will be interesting to see if he is bought back this morning.

Great photos Jen -- I think even better than the last set.

But I think you're tampering with Mother Nature. You're
creating a species that won't know what to do unless there's
a Kodak camera staring them in the face. They won't eat, and
they'll all starve. Save your pictures!

Since he is so young and trusting I'd say you are well on the way to being able to hand feed that little fella. Great pictures and well presented.

Thank you Darrell.......and we are all very concious of our feathered friends around here....trying to grow trees etc to encourage them into the gardens, making a haven for them etc bringing the kiddies up to appreciate what they have around them:) Am hoping the parents bring him back later this morning, fingers crossed:)
