I've only had the H1 for a short time and love it. I'm new to photography and welcome any comments or suggestions. Thanks for looking.

WOW!!! Man, those are nice. Are you sure you haven't done other photography of a more serious nature before? Mine pail in comparison now.

I hate it when I get too excited at my son's games and forget to take the picture... ugh!

Very nice images! I particularly like the composition of the first one and the great detail in the second.

Very nice. There must be some ducks hiding under that bridge.
Perhaps you need the DH1758 lens to get closer ;)

Good luck with the camera.

for the kind words. I love your photos of the soccer game! I can't wait to try to get some action shots. Have fun with your H1 :-)

... what is it??? :-)

The third one is pretty good, if only you would please rotate it and crop it in Photoshop, or whatever you use, so the water is level!

Off-kilter water shots tend to make me seasick!! :-)

Welcome aboard!

for the feedback. I'm loving this camera and learning alot from everyone here. I'm hoping to have some duck photos soon :-)

Denise, I'll be sure to check out the newbie post...thanks.

Hmmm...maybe I need the HD1758....

LOL - don't want to make anyone seasick...been there and it's no fun. Thanks for the tip - I didn't even notice the water wasn't level.

I'm not sure what plant the second one is - I just thought it was unique and interesting.

BTW, thanks for the whitepaper and learned alot from it...actually I've read it several times and absorb something new everytime I read it. It made me get out of auto mode and experiment with 'bokeh' :-)

Great pictures, especially the second one. I haven't had that much luck with my macros yet but I am still learning.

Lovely pics! Nice macro on the second pic.

Time to shoot some ducks! You know we want to see them!

Sure like #2!

Looks like the R1 just might be useable. ;-)

Take the scenic route! Life is too short to do otherwise.

Ah ... I note the UZI 2100 in your list - a duck hunter from the old school !
