Does anybody know if there is any difference between the Viking 256M sold at Amazon and those sold on Ebay? The ones at Amazon were said to be one of the fastest cards by one of the reviews mentioned here some time ago. Just wondering if the ones on Ebay are the same fast? Thanks.

My advice is to avoid Viking. They have been more trouble than they are worth. Tons of complaints. Just check out some of the threads in this forum.

I agree with JimC. I have a Viking 128M card and it is by far the slowest of the three kind of cards I have. Lexar, SanDisk, Viking. And I am still waiting for my $25 rebate mailed in 5-28-01.

The Viking cards are very fast and they should be reliable since Viking has been in this business for many years.

There have been big headaches with their rebate program so do not count on a fast rebate.
