Great photos, did you use anything other than the pro90 zoom when taking the bird photos and what settings did you use, i have only just received my pro 90 and have an interest in birds in particular, i will try to post some of my photos soon.

Thank you all for your comments. I hope to improve on my photography after a very long break. The Pro90 is my first digital camera, although I have been taking photos for many years using the EOS5.

Photography to me is almost a spiritual experience and often uplifting. After such a long break, it's so refreshing to pick up the camera and see the world through the view finder again. Through the camera, I can see the world in many different perspectives and discover the subtle beauty around me if I care to observe close enough.

The Pro90 is fun to use but one needs to know how to use it for the desired effect.
My accessories for the Pro90 is:

1. B300 telephoto covnerter. The black bird was taken with this converter which amounts to about 630mm focal length.

2. 500D close-up filter. This is a very good filter as there is hardly any distortion.

3. Cokin P-series filters: Circular Polariser, Blue-Yellow Vari-Color, ND Full Graduated etc.
4. Hoya IR filter.
