20d "D" for disappointment

did you shoot this with the omnibounce? if so, was it at the 45 degree angle?

That is a great shot!!! my only problem is the person in the foreground seems to be holding a whip.....a cat o nine tails perhaps??? P-)}
 
... you post no image or EXIF information to back up your claim !!! What lens ? What exposure ? Etc., etc.

How can we begin to understand the extent of your problem or offer any advice ?????

Canon comes with V8 Vtec III Engine with twin- turbo...sure you can opt for NoS. And 1D serise come with V12 Vtec IV Engine with twin- turbo. LOL

I sent mine for cleaning and calibration at the end of my one year and got it back in less than 2weeks.

It is a good idea as they will clean the chamber and sensor, map out any dead or hot pixels, they replaced my hot shoe slot as it was brassing, and my focusing screen because it was scratched. I also had a crooked LCD they straightened at my request.
