Photo hosting sites

I am trying to find the best site to upload photos to. I am not really looking to showcase my work as much as I just want a good site where I can upload lots of pics where family/friends can go and view and perhaps download. I just got back from a six week trip and have lots of photos that I would like to share. I looked at flickr, but it seemed more of a site that is for showcasing ones work. Can anyone give some recommendations of some good sites. Thanks

http://www.fotopic.net It is free easy to use, comes with 500mb and you can do a purchase of extra space (need only pay once). Allows linking and many features. Can also be upgraded.
