Has anyone bought the dedicated FUJI camera case for the S9x00 model? I would like to know if the case has space for a spare set of batteries?

I bought a bag/case from my local photoshop, brandless, but fits the camera perfectly plus 1 extra lens if needed and space for batteries/cables and memorycards. 37 euro's so was a good price.

It doesn't matter if it's from Fuji or not, it has to be functional and if you buy it in a shop you'll be able to touch it and see if the material is good enough so it would not tear after a few years.
A bag/case from a brand is always more expensive.

I brought one of these at the weekend, it fits the camera very well, and there is a separate pocket on the front for batteries / memory cards or both!

Made of leather, it has a very good feel to it, and has enough padding for the odd knock or two.

Apart from a set of batteries, memory card and camera, nothing else will fit in the case.
 
I purchased a Lowepro D-Res 40AW - room for at least two sets of batteries in the front pockets inside and a large pocket at the rear for your instruction booklet and additional cards. The AW relates to the hidden cover which will protect from rain etc.

I have another which has served my 6900 for a few years and will continue to do so.

Do your own research though.

The leather case for the S7000 will fit, very compacted and plenty of space for batteries and cards....£19.99 in the UK
 
I purchased a LowePro TLZ mini. The 9500 fits in there very nicely. There is space in the lid for more cards and in the front pocket for several sets of batteries.

I scored mine off an Ebay seller for £7.50 inc P&P :) Very nice case, enough room for my mini tripod, S5500, USB cable, spare memory card and batteries - The leather is nice too.
