This may sound stupid, but --

How do you post photo attached to a message in this forum???

Thanks...

Sam,

The photo must reside on either your own website or one of the photo hosting sites. To post it to your message, you simply type in the url path to the photo, starting with http:

The easy way to do this is to open the photo in another browser window, copy the address from the browser, then paste it into the message.

Dan,

Will the photo automatically open up with the message if I do this? I have posted photos by pasting links to Pbase, but these do not open in the message...

Pbase is the only website I know of that won't do it, - they have set it up this way so that unwanted throughput is not putting a burden on their servers. If you wish the image to show up, then you must use your link from a site that is any but Pbase.

By the way, great picture !, I like how the sunlight is coming through the window, looks super, and - the other side of the subject's face is not dark because of it . The camera's metering system really worked well on this one.

Glad you liked it, Mark. I wouldn't give the camera all the credit, though --
the photographer had something to do with it!

Here's a link to the original:

BTW, if you want to save or print a Pbase image, just add [.jpg] to the URL
after downloading and save.

I still don't know how to attach a photo to a message!
