EF 55-200mm 4.5-5.6 II USM OR EF 90-300mm 4.5-5.6

I'd like to buy a cheap zoom-lens for holidays etc. which lens would be better for my EOS 350D? I don't need the USM because I shoot landscapes under bright light conditions. Is there a difference in the optical quality of these lenses?

Not sure about the 90-300 but the 55-200 II is excellent and 90-300 probably a bit long on digital

I have EF 90-300, by this lense I can not have sharp pictures above 200 mm as mentioned often.

Should have said before, if you want something longer than 55-200, and arent bothered about USM, get a 100-300L - a cracker of a lens, inexpensive and superb even wide open at 300mm
