I agree. Your wedding portraits are absolutely stunning. The brides and their wedding gowns are amazingly beautiful.

the sharp detail, along with the selective PP is tastefully done.

Please do share some details!

As for the fashion photos- I find that you may want to watch the knees and elbows. In one, the models elbows appear to bend backward- common in many people, but distracting in print. Also, in the one with the model standing- her straight leg would look better with a slight bend, IMO.

I really like the posing of the brides and grooms- any tips? Books, websites on posing?

Thanks

Excellent photo and lighting. The only thing I notice is that the skin is too unnaturally smooth. Do you PS them or she is just having such an unsual smooth skin?

i am really flattered by reading all your comments.
thanks soooo much

as far as lighting is concerned ijust stick to basics. very basic.

DIRECTION AND QUALITY OF LIGHT

because of the work done on the gown's i usauly choose side light as key
to reatin allthe texture and then fill it with the reflector .

and by keeping the key light a little above the heads i gets natural shadows on face (most important in a portrait i think)

and for the quality of light i take care of many things.
first the size and distance of softboxes.bigger the better.(size does mater
mate).and close as possible .

second the color of the materiaL of the softbox.i use white as much as possible.even the iner walls of softboxes are white and the reflector also big and white. usually use 4x8 thermapoll sheet.
and the rest is just your own creativity.

ihave made my own designed soft boxes with bounce and difuse theory

and some times to get smoothness of skin i suppliments the flash light with argaphotos. 3400 k continous lights. continous light gives you creaminess inthe skin. you have to adjust the shutter speed though.

in posing i just have to spend some time with the couple other wise they wont be able to pose as i like and usually when i gets friendly with them
80% of my work is done.

hope this helps .nothing new but depends on the implication of things you know.
