*** CTF Mini-Challenge #86 - Part II - Less is More ***

if thats how its spelled. It was a boring day at the zoo, most of the animals where inside and out of sight, so I figured I would do something different that day. Thanks for the interest. :)

Hi James,

thanks for this 2nd entry of yours. I wouldn't have guessed this guy would be something to fear from this shot - so there must be more to what little I see here. good entry
Highland Bull

I'm glad he was on the other side of the fence.

hello again, James.

this 3rd entry of your is quite interesting - although it is clearly a boat the colour and shapes are somewhat abstract. definitely more here than what it seems at first. thanks for entering
"Reflection"

Apart from a few "stolen" minutes at work this is the first time
I've managed to get online at home for over 4 weeks, but it could
be another 15 day's before I manage to get super fast broadband,
I'm still on sloow dial up.

hi ShallowDOF

both these shots are quite eye-catching, I think they fit the challenge theme. and welcome to the mini-challenge!

re: the varied submissions - I was hoping the theme would be open to multiple interpretations, not simply minimalism, and all the great photographers around here have not let me down. of course this means judging could be interesting...
anyhow thanks for entering
interesting challenge. interesting submissions, so varied. Some
minimialism and other interpetaions. Cool... This is my first time
entering the canon talk challenge and am wondering why there is 2
challenges. Anyway... The entries..enjoy.

hello again, ShallowDOF

thanks for this 3rd entry of yours. another nice shot - and I think that makes at least 2 giraffes in this challenge!
dont know how I forgot this one. Its one of my favorites as far as
photos of unusual stuff goes.

hey beerguy

great colour in these 2 additional entries from you - good ones for the challenge. thanks for entering again
Glads After a Rain

Sky, Trees, Water

hi weatherman

a good on-topic shot. we won't hold it against you for posting it as a reply to beerguy's 2 latest entries rather than from the main entry :) thanks for entering!
Hope you like.

... in this mini-challenge. deadline for new entries is 9pm Pacific Daylight Time, Thur Oct 6/05.

you've got just less than 1 day to join in. lots of good entries so far, with various interpretations - as I was hoping for. by last count I believe there are 88 entries so far - let's see a few more!

this one was taken at this year's biennale in venice, italy.
don't have any info, sorry.

its a zebra. :) I usually dont like to have the same subject as someone else but this one's a bit different.

hi Karim

this is a very interesting photo, the pattern and colours are strong and it's really got me curious as to what I'm seeing. a good one for the topic. thanks for entering!

hi Yvonne,

Hot Ride*
