Nikon Capture 4.3.2 now available for download

Wish it would not install the nikon plugin automatically for photoshop.

Thanks for the notice. I'm currently downloading.

How was the installation process?

It is worth to run it or stay with the 4.3? (I know I need to update first to 4.3.1)

I did not have the problem of crashing with D-Lighting on the MAC. Other than the icon nothing seems to have changed much that I can tell.

"licenses for previous versions of capture don't work, you have to use a license for version 4.3"

This didn't make sense. Does that mean if you bought a previous version of Capture you have to go out and buy a new version now?

It means you have to have your 4.2 installed, with its license, before updating to 4.3. It will work. If your license is older than 4.2, I don't know.

An old license (for 4.1) will work if you progressively have upgraded and now add the 4.3.2 update. You just can't use the old license on a fresh install (no upgrading from prior version) of 4.3. Nikon has all of the interim upgrades and updates still on their site.

Currently downloading. I can't recall how to un-install the auto plugin for photoshop... anyone that does would you mind sharing.

I really hope this works... the crashing is driving me nuts.

Thanks,

If you are running PSCS2, then, when you try to open an NEF file after upgrading/installing NC, PSCS2 will give you a dialog telling you that the Nikon plug-in is over-riding ACR and will tell you the exact path to the Nikon NEF plug-in so you can remove it. As I recall, I believe it is:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\Adobe Photoshop Only\File Formats
