Epson Semigloss paper setting for S800

If you mean Epson semigloss then I use the settings for Canon PhotoPro paper at the highest resolution.

Very, very good results.

Marcel.

Yes, that's the one I meant. I've tried the setting you mentioned and the print comes out ok, apart from the whole image being very desaturated. I guess I have to bump up all the colours setting to +10 (or more)?

I love the texture and the weight of the paper so I think I will switch to Semigloss.

Thanks

I use filmpaper settings (lever is on highest quality automatic), and move intensity up (+10) for PGPP. Results seem very good. You may want to try it for semigloss.

I have no problems with the saturation. Perhaps because i don't use any color profiles and print with Qimage.

Alex,

a friend of mine printed something on the semigloss paper from within photoshop (6.0). It came out almost perfectly too. He found it a tiny bit to green. Perhaps you should try removing the icc profile at the printerconfiguration?

Marcel

Do you mean unchecking the Enable ICM from within Canon driver or unchecking the Use Print Color Management from the Print dialog box in PS5?

Seem to have hit upon a good setting.

In PS5:
Colour Space = sRGB (I save files in Adobe RGB 1998)
Print Color Management = ON

In S800:
Print Quality = 1 (Highest)
Cyan = +10
Magenta = +15
Yellow = +15
Enable ECM = OFF
Print Type = Photo
Brightness = Light

Looks to me the biggest effect was setting the colour space to sRGB. That seems to bring the saturation back up.
