OT - Whatever happened to B&H's site!?!

I've logged in, logged out, tried repeatedly, cleared history and cookies etc. Nothing but empty carts.

this problem only works with firefox browser so far. Man I hope they fix is fast.

My first computer no longer can see this because I clicked "I'm not this person" so I have to use my other computer now. It only works with that computer's IE and not Firefox because IE is what I logged into B&H with. Luckily, I think I ask B&H not to store my credit card info, as who knows how severe this leak is.

When I asked about the format you were seeing I wasn't expecting your repsonse to be, I don't know.

Now I'm a little concerned.

Let me ask it this way.

Has anyone seen a complete credit card number.
Including expiration date.

only seen last 4 numbers and expiration date
 
It is true, I see the info. Some see with or with out it, don't matter which one shows you, they have a problem that needs to be fixed now.

I'm not sure I said I don't know, but now that it works again on both my computers let me answer. It gives all the stuff you normally see when you log into your account. Without doing anything special, you just see the last 4 digits and the exp. date. Personally though, if the system is THIS messed up, I would go ahead and have new numbers issued for you credit cards. If you have one of the credit cards that gives a new number for transactions like this, you're probably safe.

I would first call B&H and tell them to cancel any orders you made recently. But if canceling your card is not a major bothering for you, do it. If you have others to use until you have a new number...

It's happening in my computer too. I use a Macintosh, and am using Safari browser.

P.S. I'm from Brazil, and the site is screwing up between Brazilian and English.

Do not buy anything from B&H until it settles down the website.

You're right. You never said you didn't know.

Sorry, I was in panic mode thinking my credit card number could be seen by multiple parties.

I'll check my balance in the morning and see the results.

I just had a quick look but it seems that this in only affecting this forum ?? Is it a Nikon plot !!! :-)

WOW! I tried it before and was calling BS on people but I decided to try it again and on the first try I had a shopping cart of Frank E. from London, Ont..

Um, I like B&H and am a loyal customer but this is very bad.

even those nasty little canabilistic Canon Rebel and 1-series users are out for us Canon 10D/20D/D60/D30'ers....
i can't see a trace of it on any other forum, haha.

Depending on my balance tomorrow morning, I may very well be closing this account.

Unfortunately, my order was a small one I could have made days later. Just a hood and tripod collar for a 100mm Macro with a couple of other items.

Now I don't know if my data has been compromised.

That's how it worked for me. I thought I broke it by clicking on the "if you do not see your order CLICK HERE" link but it started working again. A bit scary. Who know if a true hacker could see more info somehow. Hopefully there are extra levels of protection built into the system.
