WAY OT - Some thoughts to comfort His children

"... the gravitational field of the Earth."
Gerald old man ... if you want to put on an intellectual show, then you need to at least understand your own examples. You are using the word "gravitational" when you should be using "gravity." I am sure with your limited knowledge you likely think they are one and the same. As usual you are all bound up in words and concepts you don't understand. Man you are a real hoot. I can hardly wait for the next screw up you post! I can just see you rushing to the dictionary right now ... and then trying to figure out the subtle difference between "gravitational" and "gravity" .... HA!! .... BIG SMILEY FACE!!! :-)

Koos and I made our peace ... why don't you just give it up, man! I weary of you and your verbose bulllshit!

Come on Poster, the man said he wasn't Isaac Newton. You don't also play the role of grammar/spelling police in addition to philosopher do you?

Ok, I finally figured Poster out; he's a 17 year old kid (probably with bad acne) and no clue. Perhaps HE should consult the dictionary before shooting off his ".... HA!! .... BIG SMILEY FACE!!! :-)"

grav·i·ty (grv-t)
n.
Physics.

1) The natural force of attraction exerted by a celestial body, such as Earth, upon objects at or near its surface, tending to draw them toward the center of the body.

2) The natural force of attraction between any two massive bodies, which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

3) Gravitation.

(MY Notes: "gravitational" being the adverb form of "gravitation" and "gravity", thus the "gravitational field of the earth". I suppose YOU would say "the gravity field of the earth"??)

4) Grave consequence; seriousness or importance: They are still quite unaware of the gravity of their problems.
5) Solemnity or dignity of manner.

Grow up Poster (oops, sorry, that'll be impossible for a few years yet)

You might be right! His latest reply made no sense at all.

"Universal" phenomenon vs. a local manifestation. How's that for brevity? The dictionary, indeed... Oh my, I made a mistake in terminology. Whatever will I do? Surely all the statements I've made and all the actions of my life are now suspect. Buy a clue, you arrogant twit. You can't tell me that my point failed to be made.

I don't know about the rest of the people on this forum, but I truly am tiring of being told what is or is not appropriate to post in this forum by you. I've adopted a new policy, I'm going to simply pay you all the attention you deserve and ignore you.

i apologize for borring everyone, specially the ones that have no
interests in what happened in new york,
This thread is clearly marked Way OT. And, your post is way down the line. Do you really think that someone with no interest in what happened would even had read your post? You may be trying to deny feelings of this event but don't expect to find many others who appreciate it. Only people who want to read about this are reading it. This was not just a US incident. This is a human issue. And any time that many lives are lost for no reason everyone the world over should have a very strong interest in it. My being here on these boards has nothing to do with photography or the E10. I am here because this is were I am a lot and I look to take comfort around those I know. BTW my family is asleep and I have spent almost all of my time with them since this happened.

If you don't want to see this don't read OT threads with titles that are obvious what they are about.
