Anyone else experiencing delays in Thom's Ebook?

G'day All,

Just wondering if anyone else is waiting for their D2X eBook?

I placed my order on the 14th of July but nothing has arrived.

I understand he was having problems with his duplication company and he has been away too but it's been over 2 months now!

I'm not here to stir anybody up as I know Thom is highly regarded here but I'm just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me?

I'm sure Thom will try to correct this as soon as he reads this. I do know that he is currently out of town so he might not be able to do anything until he returns home.

He'll probably also say something when he gets on line sometime later today.

Mine took almost 3 weeks. I was just about to email Thom when I received notice it had been shipped. Unusual for him.

Most D2x books queued up until 8/8 due to a problem at the duplicator. When I sent them the US ones arrived just fine, the International ones have had all kinds of problems for unknown reasons. All the Canadian orders were held at the border and inspected (so much for NAFTA). Some UK orders also seemed to vanish. Others took far longer to arrive than usual. The US Postal Service has no explanation other than some of them were stopped at the border for inspection.

But this isn't the place to contact me about missing orders. If you have problems with receiving an order, contact me directly and I'll deal with it.

Apologies Thom but I have emailed you twice without any response (although one was only a couple of days ago). I'm not stressing but you have to admit that 8 weeks a little while to wait and I was just checking to see if anyone was experiencing the same delays.

I'm just keen to start reading!

Bandwidth is getting a lot cheaper and most people here live pretty good in terms of internet connection. I am sure that at the very least those that choose the fast shipping for a e-book would definitely eat that same cost in terms of having a on site download option.

For example a day opens up and you really feel like reading. What do you do, order a online book that will take a week or go to Barnes and noble?

Anyway, thank you for reading I really enjoy your posts and website

Whilst you can of course bo to Barnes & Noble or anywhere else, it won't be as good as Thoms!!!

And as THE MAN says here is not the forum to discuss so I shall say no more...

I ordered around 8th August and it arrived 12th August, so absolutely no complaints.

Actually, I've responded to all three of your email messages now (two of them asked you to verify your address before I sent another package). You might want to make sure you aren't filtering my messages into your Junk Folder.

Hmm, I've never received any of them but I did get the one you just sent now. Possibly my ISP may be filtering emails but I haven't had any trouble before.
