I am using my Image Bank with Win 2000. Recently I found that I couldn't kill the directories created by Image Bank after downloading the images from the CF card. There is always a message says " The directory is not empty." However, I am sure that I removed everything from the directory , there exists no hidden files in the directory "xxxx.ITD". But I just couldn't kill the directory. Does anyone have the some problem as I did? or does anyone know how to solve the problem? Thanks!!

My Image Bank does the same thing. I've tried to delete it in Windows Explorer (2000) and DOS - no luck. Any ideas on how to delete the 0001.ITD subdirectory without reformatting the hard drive???

Other than this slight inconvenience, my Image Bank works great!!

Thanks in advance!!

This may be a problem with Win2000. Using WinMe I just right-clicked the (full) directories and left-clicked "delete". The directories disappeared and the free space on the IB drive increased. Hope this helps, Derek2

I also have Win 2000 and it seems to delete some xxx.ITD directories without a problem, and gives me the 'not empty' message for others. Explorer says the directory IS empty, and I have it set to display all files including 'hidden' files.

I even tried to delete from the DOS command prompt (from within Windows). It did not complain, but did not delete it.

What gives?

Did any of you try dragging the files over to the recycle bin? Just a thought.

Pat,

I just tried dragging to the bin and got the same error message. But thanks anyway!

As I said, some of the directories were deleted (moved to the recycle bin). But when I try to empty the recycle bin, I get the error message!

Could it be that there are still some hidden files ?

I would like to find out if the problem of deleting directories, "xxxx.ITD," from the Image Bank is specific to Windows 2000. Would you please post your operating system (and version or service pack number, if you know it) and whether or not you have this problem?

Thanks,
