Show us your face!

Dear Paul

Yes, this is against a mirror.

The little thing in my hand is the Minolta Anti-Shake. And yes - it also works on Olympus !

I use it for more than 20 years. I must have been well ahead of time without knowing.

Regards, Rambolin

... but I am very surprised at how different I'd imagined other posters!
I'm not gonna mention the word ugly but it's hovering on my lips :-)

Hi,

Well I've been a regular lurker these days, but as life is calming down a bit I may be able to spend more time with my second hobby. Don't have any recent self portraits but here is a link (which includes a shot of me and my first hobby) that has a lot of the "original" Oly DSLR regulars -- some of whom stil inhabit the forum today:

Thanks.

I'd forgotten about the old "Faces" link. Fun to see some of the "old" people again (me, included).

It struck me that there were so few women's portraits then or now. Is it a vanity issue? Or, are there really so few women in the Oly fold?

Just a casual thought.

I thought about the wisdom of posting my pic on this forum but considering I only have ONE photo of me displayed in my house as my wife placed it close to the front door to keep the RATS out, I decided I would save the pity and compassion of my fellow members by not complying.

Paul,

Interesting read on your bio......before I came to Colombia, S.A. my company was headquartered in Vancouver Wash. and my home was in Oregon City, Oregon on the Clackamas River. My house was an "A" Frame with the front glass framing Mount Hood. Brings back memories, thanks.

Bill . . .Just out of curiousity . . .what was your company's name and how long ago was that?

How do you like S.A. ? Seems like a "radical" change. I'm from the SF Bay Area, but, I've lived in AZ, PA, MN, OR and now recently retired in WA.

(My e-ddress is [email protected].)
