Question for IB owners:

Does the supplied AC adapter accommodate dual voltage (110-240V) or is it just for US 110V (when bought in the US).

If it's just for 110V AC, what is the recommended AC adapter for taking 240V AC?

Thanks - I just kept seeing conflicting information on that particular matter and I wanted confirmation so that I can weigh my options based on more accurate data.

I really appreciate Joe Hall's regular and objective input regarding storage matters and if money were no object, I would certainly have considered the Nixvue DA further.

Joe:

Do you know if there are any plans to support additional image file types (RAW, TIFF, etc.) to be previewed on TV for the DA?
AC adapter is dual voltage. All you nee is the proper adapter if
you do nou have US ttype electrical outlets.

Hi sanshiro,

This is something I've requested but I don't know for sure what/when will be available. It's important to know image formats aren't as standard as people think. There are at least 4 different ways JPG files are created by digital cameras. I shudder to think how many different RAW formats there are.

If I had to prioritize them, I'd pick TIF first and everything else dead last. Like JPG files, most people deal with TIF files. Personally, as a webmaster I also deal with GIF files often, but I don't think the main-stream customer does. But, it's not up to me.

Cheers,
Joe
