Overexposure, as in some highlights being blown, is not always a bad thing.Sorry, couldn't resist. I think the skin softening is overdone, and yes, I do think they are exposed lighter than I'd choose.
There's more to being over exposed than just "blown out". It means "lighter than it should be". And of course "should" is a matter of opinion.Overexposure, as in some highlights being blown, is not always a

Maybe sometimes people are going for a look that calls for the photo being 'blown out' ;^) (smirk) sorry, but we can agree to disagree; on my monitor, the face is definitely blown out. There's more to being over exposed than just "blown out". So in MY opinion, the photos are over exposed...but not because
they are "blown out".

My point is simply that sometimes people are going for a look that
calls for some overexposure.
--That's what "high key" involves, for example.
I'd argue that it's a look some photographers intentionally "shoot" for. Look up "high key photography" on the Internet and see how many noses blend in with the cheeks. Lots.Well, overexposed does not necessarliy mean blown out, but that statement is irrelevant here, because when the face is so 'overesposed' that the nose blends in with the cheek, (and is indistinguishable from the cheek), I'd say that it's blown out.
What part of "in my opinion" is hard to understand? I realize that the photographer is developing a syle -- and I can understand that some would like it. Shoot, I liked the photos --even if, in my opinion, they are over-exposed and over processed -- for MY taste. My point is simply that sometimes people are going for a look that

I like the first two sets, the beach snap I could do without.
A little bit of whimsy never hurt anyone, and I can't believe in a
photo forum that people would neglect the part that creativity
plays in good photographs.
