Here is the link. The photos are of my bathroom. Indoor, no tripod, no flash. All are taken handheld, using my new S110 with 128mb compact flash.

Please let me know what you think.

p.s. I took over 400 shots to get these 10. Then I adjusted color and resized in photoshop.

Especially for the ladies.

You don't get out much, do you, Kev? Thanks for not including the potty.

But the pictures are sharp and detailed...not bad for a camera that's not known for it's macro capabilities.

Ken, Most of these look a little out of focus to me. Also the red tint is still in a lot of them, just a canon thing I guess. I would pic something a little more appealing to look at next time. Jer

You know what? I like'm!

I for one can certainly appreciate the effort that has gone into taking these photos. It is not about the subject, it is about the composition. It is about playing with depth of field to isolate subjects but not neglecting the background at the same time (the one of the showerhead with the bath tub in the background is great!). To me this is a perfect way to learn how to MAKE a photo. You may not like the subject but the photos do tell a lot and I think it's admirable to be able to create such interesting photos from such a trivial (and in this case pretty filthy) subject.

I salute you, don't be put off by the people who can't see beyond the subject and merely say "clean your bath room".

I apologise for my previous remarks. There is strangely something real about your pictures. For some reason I keep going back to look at them.
Isn't this what good photographs are about?

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes. Thank you. The pics are great. As for the red cast mentioned by someone previously, I think it's appropriate and perfect here.

And from the quality of these pics I'm sure you're experienced and know how to manipulate/experiment-- with tungsten lighting setting on your S110, perhaps.

Am I in a Monty Python moment or what.....

Lastly, please post your pics again. I have a S110 but not your vision and you have now inspired me!
