6900/4900 Owners Location?

Thought I'd bring this thread up out of the archieves. Do we have any new 49'rs or 69'rs out there? If so, tell us where you live.

Good idea and may I be forgiven for not replying to the earlier posting.

I'm in Cumbria (home of Foot and Mouth)

( on the south shore of the Solway estuary which I look out over. Wonderful!

And I live in the maw of Mammon...Surrey,UK.
However, I originate from God's real country
(ie. Lancashire). I'd just like to say that I reckon this
forum is the most friendly I've seen, and I'm very glad
I found it.

I'm from Utah, but my great-grandfather if from Switzerland

Visited there in 1999. I've also been known to be from Hungary at times. I hope I can go back soon to use my 6900 there and show you all how amazing Budapest is. I never have had a camera that could show off the amazing beauty of the Danube running through Budapest at night. Now I'm confident that I will get those pictures! Have had the 6900 for 2 weeks. Took it to the pool last night to take some pictures of my wife and son swimming. They turned out wonderfully. The blues are right on!

I thought I had replied to this post before but it looks like that was all in my imagination. I live in New York, just a few miles north of New York City. Please don't stop making cracks about New Yorkers on my account. Love to photograph Nature, animals and people. Love just having my camera with me so I can photograph anything interesting that catches my eye. Had a coolpix 950 for 2 years before deciding to increase my megapixels with the FP6900. Great camera.

Can't remember if I replied first time round, I'm from south-west London in the UK, just about mid-way between 'town' and 'country' - IMHO the best way to be as you get the best of both worlds!

If you haven't already guessed I've got a 6900

Hello, I hope to be a 69er as soon as it ships. Ordered it 2 weeks ago. Anyhow I live in Northern Wisconsin, USA. The fall colors will soon be appearing and I will try and post some fall color photos. After that will come that dirty 4 letter word (SNOW) !!!
