Does anyone know where I can touch and see the full range of Crumpler bags in London? Finding somewhere which has some of the larger bags seems to be impossible!

I'm looking to find the Puppet back pack or the Formal Lounge. Does anyone have any opinion on these bags? I seem to remember seeing the smaller Crumpler bags a while ago - they seemed to be very well padded but didn't seem to have much internal room.

The only place I have seen a good selection of them is in Jacobs on New Oxford Street - they don't stock the entire range (who does?) but have quite a lot in there. Plus a lot of Lowepro & Tamrac bags too. I recently bought a Wonder Weenie in there (for £20 less than it was in Selfridges) which I use with an insert from a Billingham Photo Packington - my favourite bag combination at the moment (I am a bag freak!)

Hi,

I had a similar problem - couldn't find ANY other than in Central London and I didn't want to trek in there when I don't really work anywhere near there.

Try this weblink, it has loads of great shots sent in by people who HAVE the bags, with their kit, so you can see what REALLY fits into them:

I have the Farmer's Double and the compartment for the camera equipment would probably fit a D70, 18-70mm, one other lens (MAYBE an 70-300mm for example), and a flash unit, with cards, batteries, filters etc in the front pockets or in the main bag section, which also has a section that will comfortably hold a 15" Powerbook.

What do you want to fit in it?

Cheers,
Owen

I was in Camera World on Wells Street in London today - they also seem to stock a good selection of Crumpler Bags - probably almost as many as Jacobs.

Wells Street is not far from Oxford Street
