S2 IS Action shots!!! Lets see 'em

Well the S2 seems to be holding it's own just fine. Beautiful macros and scenic shots, a lot of dragon fly's and bees. But no action shots or sports shots?

Crank up the shutter speed and let's see wht this baby can do!!!

here are some Fast action pic Samples of Formula 1 Racing..at Indianapolis a few weeks back. Michael Schumaker in red Ferrari car. I had gone up to 2500 Shutter Speed but Most came well at around 1800.

Bill, nice shot. Tell me, is "panning shot" a mode on the S2? Or was it just you were panning?

Do birds in flight count as action? Not easy to get a good sharp shot... these were after many blurry shots of trial and error.

That wasn't my shot but to a link showing Dave's shot. Yes, Panning is a mode on the S2. I believe the shooter said he was panning.
