Is it possible to diffuse the built-in flash? If so, how?

Will this work for other than macro photography? How much does the flash need to be compensated by?Check this out, look at the bottom right frame in particular.
Pretty amazing, and the price is right

Not my shots, but I sure appreciated David's help.
I'll have to give that a try... I already carry a Pringles lid for WB!Or a white pringles lid, etc, can be hand held.

I can imagine the tape being really tough to get back off if left on for too long, though.I've found that a small piece of Scotch Tape (the frosty-looking
kind) works really well, and it allows you to close the flash
without removing the tape if you are careful.

I know that. If I had the money for a flash right now, I wouldn't be worried about trying to figure out how to diffuse the on-board one!from what I've read flash supposedly works best when it's located
off camera. I think the d70 knows how to trigger offboard flashes
wirelessly but I haven't tried it.
