I do see "soft lenses" tho... or not 100-percent spot on focuing.

Well, I must say I feel a little foolish. After all the comments to the contrary, I went back to double check what I saw. That was earlier today, and I could not see any banding. So I waited until tonight when I could remove any ambient light in the room with my monitor, and still no banding.I would agree that this is a huge improvement on the D1 high ISOWOW,- this is top quality..... you also have to see the pictures
