CF vs. MD

Just got a 995. would like to get extra storage. Anyone can tell pros and cons of CF vs. MD?

If you CF is compact flash card and your MD means minidisc.

CF was made mainly for temporary storage and the price is still considerably expensive - eventhough has been decreased a whole lot.

Minidisc was made mainly for music storage, different purposes and though I believe it can store data but haven't seen any data minidisc yet !

it's hard to compare boat and car - it's different.

Actually, it's easy to compare boats and cars. Both are vehicles, so one can compare motive means, comfort, effectiveness in given environments, capacity, etc.

CF flash is faster & more sturdy/durable, but costs more per megabyte than the IBM Microdrive.

CF flash memory prices have been falling quickly, but they are still ~~40% more expensive the the Microdrive.~~
