What we need are some new Wide Angle Lenses.....
Not more computers to hang them on....

Cannons 14,24,35 L wides need some attention..
I'd like to see a 20 & 30 stuck in there so we can take
full advantage of their Flag ship Body....

The Bodies we have are fine.....

The D100 was superior in every measurable way, including high-ISO performance compared to the D60. Only at ISO 100-200 was the D60 cleaner. The D100 really ate the D60's lunch in just about every other department.

Hence, the 10D (which I never liked either, despite owning three of them ;-)

...so a Canon 1D-series body with 300/2.8IS is the same weight as the Nikon D2-series with 200/2VR.

Not that it matters, 'cuz we're only talking ounces here.

Hi Mark.
I agree with you.
We have good body for every level.
We need goog wides,for the flahship in special way.
Good sensors,good iso for every body,but ancient wide primes.

whatever it'll be it'll compete with the Nikon d100 update.. the 20D will remain the same..

Nikon leapfrogs Canon .. they didn't play the 8mp game but they'll be back to play 10MP when Canon reaches that point.. so Canon wouldn't have a lead.. in fact .. that's been the Case.. Nikon has never let Canon take a clear cut lead.. only except the 1D mark II when Nikon Marketing slept during their meetings and came up with the D2Hs..

Nikon's competitive cameras hit the shelves about 10 months after Canon's. Not exactly leapfrogging.

... if Nikon introduces the "D200" next month it is too late for Canon to start to design a "3D" at that moment, I bet. It would be better to be the first and with a better product (assuming the same price class).
