Too Spooky

Good work.

You must have been on the next outlook from me. How did you get the foto info displayed? I’m new to all this. Had the D70 for 9 days. Had to create web space my ISP offers and download an FTP client just to reply. Hope it works.

Bob:

I use "PrintExif" in Photoshop CS. This is a utility that was posted here a while ago.

I think you can find it here. Otherwise, do a search for "PrintExif"

I took my shots in a couple of different places. The first set of shots were taken from the easternmost (closest to the Monongahela Incline) overlook. This is one of the square overlooks. The others were taken down the road a ways in front of St. Mary's of the Mount church.

When were you there? My wife and I were up there on Sunday around 1:00 PM.

Out of curiosity, were you with a woman and carrying a tripod? I just looked at your exif data, and we were so close to passing eachother, we were probably within spitting distance.

I was there with my wife, carrying a tripod, and wearing my new Computrekker AW backpack over one shoulder.

I took mine Sunday about 11:40. I'm an IT pro too. Thats why I said Too spooky.

I was 1 or 2 overlooks to the left of the one you were on.

I'll check photoshop when I get home.

Thanks.

Sorry, I hadn't checked back for a while.

No, I'm a 56y/o swm with very short hair. Forget what I was wearing.

Yea, thats what the too spooky was all about. Same place, same time, same career, same length lens....

That's funny. I was in Pittsburgh also.

Your pictures look great. Here are two pics from the top of the Incline, and one from the West End Overlook

I grew up 20 miles south of the city, in a distressed steel town down along the Mon, but never could afford a camera, let alone to dine up on top of Mount Washington . . .

This one is from just across the former 9th Street Bridge (I think!), now the Roberto Clemente Bridge.

A couple of other snaps are here:

Thanks for your comments. I really liked your night-time shot and also the image from PPG Place. You can always get interesting shots down in that area.

Just wondering if there were any special guidelines or things to watch out for when bringing my D70 to the ballpark.

My son's tball team is going tomorrow (Sunday 6/11) and I was figuring to carry the D70 on its strap and one extra lens in a lens pouch.

Thanks!

Paul,

I don't think that would be a problem at all. You may need to go through the bag check line so they can take a quick peek inside the lens pouch. I take a whole camera bag in with me and never had a problem.

Have fun and bring home a winner!
