There you go -
where can I get one? If it's only $150 or so, it's an investment
i'd make just for the "look what I've got" factor!
I checked ebay and there aren't any available currently - unless
they're listed as something other than zigview.

Yep, when it was mentioned last week it created quite a stir. I was surprised at the number of negative comments, like "it's un-slr like, so it must be bad". Wow, progress, how some resist it so.

It may not be useful for all people and all situations, but it can certainly be useful for some people and some situations. I do astrophotography. I've been considering plunking money down on a 20Da at some point, now that it's finally available in the US. But so far, the quoted price is around $2000, and that's way too much for the ability to take a bit wider spectrum shot and live preview.

Enter the zigview. So far, I haven't seen many specs on the sensitivity of the sensor used so I reserve judgement. But if it's sensitive enough to be able to show the brighter stars at its highest gain, then I'm in. Framing and fccusing are the most frustrating and labor intensive part of taking astro shots. If I can focus and see the result live on screen the device pays for itself, imo.

Just my $.02

I'll get one once B&H carries them. I shoot candids from "the hips" only with a prime like 50mm or my 28-135 IS (at the shorter end). It would be great to use my 70-200 or 100-400 and act as it I'm fidling with my camera and be shooting!

if I made sense, I'm sorry
