converting RAW into PS CS...?

why is it that i cannot import any of my RAW files into photoshop CS?

i see you can import, but has a different file extension... am i missing something here?
 
Got the same problem. There is a RAW update file available, but the bottom line is that CS doesn't support the 350D, but CS2 does.
 
bizarre. i'd love to be able to try the extra features in the PS RAW conversion... guess i'll have to start saving... (there goes the cash for my L-glass lens... LOL)
 
Here´s what you can do:
1. Update your Adobe Camera Raw to 2.4
2. Get Adobes DNG Converter 3.1
3. Convert CR2 to DNG
4. Open DNG in Photoshop CS and play/pray.
