I was sooo nervous being the official photographer for the group photo... and I had to stand on top of a 12 foot ladder to take the shot.. so I could not use my tripod!!! But I think they came out well.

I did 3 versions of the shot.

1) TTs only
2) TTs with their owners
3) TTs in infrared (an event first)

I've done most of the processing on the infrared shot.. and I must say it is stunning! Don't want to post it yet till its done and finalized with the event coordinators though.

The 717 spent all its time locked up in its case in the hotel room cause I was paranoid I'd damage it before time for the photo shoot came, and again after the shoot was done. I had a 2nd camera though, so here are some snapshots I took with my old S70 though. Straight from the camera!

my 'tape' mod.. to keep the front bug free

Hey Dani,
Welcome back. I bet you had a great time. Does this look familiar to you?

Chattanooga's very nice.

I'm sure they will be pleased with your photos! One other thing - I noticed whenever I was in the States that many people had 'bug covers' on the nose of their cars - are they simply to stop bugs & stone chips on the nose of the car?

I'm sure that they work but feel that they detract from the car's appearance - it's a bit like keeping the plastic covers on your seats just in case they get dirty!

cool, looks like you had a good time.

can't wait to see the group shots, especially the IR.
