The problem I would see is that to charge batteries of that size in 15 minutes, you would really have to be pushing some amps into the batteries and doing that gets them hot and heat is bad for batteries.

I have a Lightning Pack 4000N charger and it will regulate the juice to the batteries if they get too hot.

When I bought this charger it would charge my 1600mah batteries in 1.5 hours, with the 2500mah I have now, it takes about 2 hours (longer time with larger capacity).

I have read the heat thing on many different places not just the site that sells these chargers.

My 2 cents...
New product from Sony, wondering if anyone has tyied it.
It's only $25-$30 for 4 2500 mAh batteries and a 15 minute charger.
Wow that's pretty fast.

You can see it here.

I know almost nothing about electricity/electronics, what you're saying makes since though.

I wouild like to get input if anyone is using this charger/batteries.

Thanks for you input Matthew

I use the 15 minute charger an 2500's.
They get really really hot.
Almost to the point where you want gloves to take them out.

However they charge fully and cool down quick after taking them out.

My one hour charger seems to do about the same heat level on these batteries, so I don't know how much of a difference there really is.

If you want a really good charger, go with MAHA. I used one once and my 2300 Energizers lasted easily twice as long as they do on the $15 2 hour charger I have now. I'm going to be getting myself a MAHA the first chance I get. These cheap chargers really make the high capacity of the batteries pointless. It's like getting a VR lens, but never using it:)

Their Powerex batteries are also superior to just about anything else. They just released some 2500 mAh.

This company sells top of the line chargersand batteries.

The slower the charge, the better.
Heat is bad and fast chargers are not as good as slow.
Slow chargers let the electrons line up in a better configeration.

Fast chargers make the electrons get too excited and thet get mixed up and don't line up correctly.

Check out the products from Thomas. They are very reliable.

I have their MAHA MH-C204W and it works great. This charger with four 2500 batteries is $40.
