CNET- don't buy this camera

Greetings:

All may find the below linked item interesting, as CNET specifically recommends the E-300 over the Canon Rebel. The say "The Rebel may be cheap, but the E-300 is, too, and it's a better all-around dSLR."

If you can visualize it, then create it in the camera, finish it off with the print that matches your mind's eye then you are, most likely, a master...

I think Olympus finally paid them enough. Don't worry, Canon is about to pay them double.

I dont trust what CNet has to say about cameras. In one of the videos they have on offer about the E-300, they state you can't even attach old OM lenses... While they are correct out of the box, they didn't mention the adaptor?

The best reviews for Olympus DSLR's are right here in this forum. Aside from picture quality, in my opinion put a good lens on any DSLR will get you superb images, just observe how many people complain about problems with their cameras/lenses. Go to other camera forums in this website and you will notice that there are fewer people unhappy with their purchase of Olympus E-300/E-1.

Your right there, except for holding the thing you can almost choose a camera via dpreview. In my mind I have basiclly written off a few cameras from my wish list due to this. On some sites you have people complaining about this and that, posting not so good photos, while it may be the photographer it also shows the camera/lens in a bad light
