2100 + vc-200hi

Has anyone tried their 2100 with this Kenko vc-200hi, I haven't
been able to locate one at very many stores but it's a 2x with a
49mm thread.

I use it with my Epson 850z and 2100. I like it. Some chromatic fringing at full 380MM but vignetting starts at 320MM so I have some zoom capability. Also I can put a thin circular polorizer (or warming filter) between the UZI and the Kenko. (Make sure that it is the 200HI). Bought mine from CKCPower.com. With the UZI you will have to switch to Macro mode for shots that are closer than 10 feet away.

Can you display any sample photos with the 2100 and the Kenko? I am shopping for a good teleconverter?

Thanks

Kerry

Unfortunately I don't have a photo sharing service yet. I know your problem since I had to buy the 200HI on spec. The prices of the Kenko 200HI and the B300 seem to be within $20. When I was buying the difference was $80. Made my decision easy. If I had to make it now, I would lean to the B300 because of it optical quality and the fact that 1.7X is probably all you need on a 2100. The only downside is it is bigger and heavier.
