Hi!

I'm looking forward to purchase such a cam, but first I would like
to have some special pictures taken with it. Could someone take
these images?

-night shot @60sec exposure (no street lights of anything, just
moonlight maybe :) ) - I want this because somewhere I heard that
the subtraction method only takes a 4sec frame and noise is higher
at longer shutter speeds
-indoor flash shot with stuff as far as 5 meters (with/without
flash assist)
-indoor normal (under 1 sec exposure time) shot w/o flash
-outdoor normal (with solid (meaning: not bushes) shadow areas to
see noise)
-indoor movie at normal lamp's light

If it's not a problem I would like to see them at full size&full quality and

taken with (-2) for sharpness, (-1) for saturation and (-1) for contrast and of course all @ISO50

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!

You ask for a lot of things!

I'll try to do some each time.

For starters here are some indors. The statue is about 7m (21 feet) away. The shots have been done putnig the camera on a table and setting to auto-shoot to avoid hand shaking. puntual auto-focus, but I think I did the half-press for focus_before_you_shoot right the 4 times. The fabric of the clothes (read pillows) are smooth enough to consider the noise (notice the differences between flash assist vs no flash assist.

Sharpness -2 saturation -1 contrast -1
I'd like to read your comments on what information you can get of this shots.

I have four shots:

1-wide lenses, Flash with flash assist f 2,8 s 1/60 iso50
2-wide lenses, Flash but no flash assist f 2,8 s 1/60 iso50
3-wide Lenses, no flash f2,8 s 0,8seg iso50
4-tele Lenses, no flash f5,1 s 0,8seg iso50

Problem is I have no way of publishing photos this big.

I croped them with photoshop, saving at 11 quality to minimize compression artifacts but....

If you want full size tell me where can I upload +3MB pictures for free or give me an email address

That flash assist really adds a lot of noise.

It doesn't look like a good camera for indoor shots. (Unless you have 8 seconds and a tripod to take the shot.)

If you turn flash assist off, the noise is dimished. Your choice..greater range...just as Nikon does with its d-lighting software...in exchange for more noise. Without flash assist, the Z 750 performs very well with flash.

That's diminished (sorry). Turning the Flash Assist software on or off is a simple menu choice that remains after you turn the camera off and on again.

Thank you for your images! Looking at the indoor shot on dcresource I think I made my decision, and I'll wait for a canon ultracompact with image stabilization and mpeg4 :)

is just 0.8 seconds ... but you are right, and eternity for standing persons.

All in all I'm quite surprised with the resuts of the long-time shots. I can even read the small print from 7 m away in low light.

You really shouldnt take those pictures as an example of the z750 indoor picture quality.

I dont know how these shots came about, but i havent been able to produce such bad shots, even with trying.

I have taken a lot of really great indoor pictures with flash at parties, at home etc... which are amazingly good. Since all of them have people on them I cannot post them without permission - i have some indoor test pictures I could post, but they are pretty boring.

By the way - the flash assist should in my experience be always turned off since i have found it to be not really good, it introduces a lot of noise to pictures. You can do much better by using some software to brighten shots on your pc.
But this is no pitty, since other cams dont even have this flash assist.
