A cold start to the day

Went bushwalking at the weekend (again) and on the way I got this shot.

I call it Fog Island. Hope you enjoy.

What a cool shot!!! It looks like the fog is quite deep. I wonder if you could feel it on your face while walking through it? Probably not good for the camera though!! Catherine

Not that cold where we were, a lot higher about 400m so did not have a problem with condensation in the camera.

I didn't look at the thermometer but it was freezing here yesterday morning (mothers day) when I got up at 5am to go milk. We had a low lying fog just like that too, only the grounds flat here so we didn't have any cool looking islands floating around

Great pic makes freezing your but off all worth it I think.

Hi Rusty

Dunno if it's me, but it looks as if the whole comp is leaning towards the right?

When I say "off vertical" the pole / trees, their orientation SEEM to be leaning toward the right.
Make sense now?
Or is it just time for me to recalibrate my glasses again - LOL
