has anyone had any experience with the 1 gig Micro Drive in the D7. My dealer has advised me to defer as there appears to be a heat problem. Any thoughts?

The only problem I've had with my 1g md is I can't seem to fill it up in one day.
It doesn't get particularly hot.
Neither do any of the 340s I've tried in mine either.
It doesn't get nearly as hot in my Dimage 7 as it does in my E100RS.

"Hot" is relative - mine gets "warm" and works great.

Two questions that come to mind when I read a post such as this one:
1. Where is the dealer getting it's information to claim there appears to be a heat problem?
2. What other storage medium is the dealer pushing, as it doesn't appear to be the 1 GB MD.

I use a 1 GIG Microdrive and it works fine. No heat at all for close to an hour, and even after that it's not as warm as my G1 gets in 5 minutes.
