pics for Canon S-100 fans

Enjoyed your pictures.

My S100 has over 2700 pictures on the clock and I like her even more than the day I bought her.

Looking seriously at the Pro 90 since I often need more than 2x zoom. I have CKC Power's Kenko 8x32 monocular for the S100 but find it to be a bit cumbersome. I considered selling or trading in the S100 but realized that she still has plenty of life in her and still is the perfect "take anywhere" camera.

The little beauty may be playing second fiddle to her bigger and
newer cousins, but she is still lots of fun to use.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the comment Mike.

I agree. The form factor of the S100 is its best feature. It is so compact that I take it almost everywhere almost all the time. Oh and the quality of the pictures can be superb if you stay within its limitations (limited flash distance, limited zoom etc.)

Enjoyed your pictures also DD, they were just plain fun. I looked through them with a lady at work and we loved the dancers backstage, Olivia & the Tulips, the boy and his grandfather and the last sunset. Nice job. Couldn't get over the little dancers backstage, that was great.....

DD,

You have taken good photos with a Canon S-100. Looking at "Simple bouquet & Sipping wonder" S-100 can make good pictures of my aquariums. Am I right? Give me your expert opinion. What degree of technical knowledge is necessary to take the pics of my aquariums with a Canon S-100? Are you from Canada? Just curious to know as we have a famous 'Grand Bend' close to my Canadian city.

I presume that you want to take pictures of the fish in your aquarium. In that case, you will have to consider lighting, movement of the fish, etc. I think any camera will have to deal with those issues. I don't think an S-100 will beany better or worse than any other autofocus macro camera. S-100 macro pictures can be excellent if the lighting is decent.

Yes, the Grand Bend in the picture is Grand Bend Ont., quite the party town!.
